What train tickets can I buy at Skycash Transport?
At Skycash Transport, you can buy PKP Intercity tickets and tickets from numerous regional carriers – approximately 10 rail carriers in Poland, including PolRegio, Koleje Mazowieckie, SKM, and others. Tickets are purchased in just a few clicks, without having to wait in line.
How to buy a ticket with a transfer between different carriers?
In the app, you can search for connections that include transfers. The system will show you available travel options, and you can purchase tickets for individual segments in one place.
How long before departure can I buy a ticket at the latest?
You can even buy a ticket just before your train departs. However, it's worth doing so a little earlier to ensure the transaction is processed correctly.
Can I buy discounted tickets (e.g. student discount) in the app?
Yes. You can select the appropriate discount type, such as student or pupil, when making your purchase. However, please remember that you must have proof of entitlement to the discount with you during inspection.
Does the app support transporting a bike or dog?
Yes, if the carrier offers these options. When purchasing your ticket, you can add a ticket for the transportation of a bicycle or pet, if required.
Do I have to validate the ticket in the app additionally?
No. A train ticket purchased through the app is immediately valid for a specific connection or period. No need to look for a validator on the platform – simply board the train and take your seat.
Do I have to print a ticket purchased over the phone?
No. Tickets purchased through the app are valid in digital form. When checking in, simply present them on your phone and the conductor will scan the code on the screen.
Is a train ticket purchased at Skycash Transport honored by the conductor?
Yes. An e-ticket purchased through Skycash Transport is a valid ticket. You present it to the conductor on your phone. The ticket contains a QR code that the conductor can scan.
What should I do if my battery dies while traveling?
It's best to ensure you can show your ticket before being checked. If your battery runs out, the conductor may ask for your ID to validate your ticket in the carrier's system.
What if the train is long delayed?
Your ticket remains valid for your current connection regardless of the delay. In the event of long delays, additional passenger rights may apply, as defined by the carrier.
Can I return a train ticket purchased through Skycash Transport?
Yes, refund policies vary depending on the carrier. You can process your refund in the app. Funds are returned to the payment method used for the purchase – immediately to your Skycash Transport wallet, or to your payment card within 3 business days (bank settlements may take up to 30 days).
