Why does the application require the card to be connected when first launched?
Skycash Parking is based on functions that require a constant source of payment – in particular the function car top up, i.e. automatic wallet top-up.
In the previous version of the app, you had to manually top up your wallet before each parking session. This resulted in a number of inconveniences:
- the risk that you will not be able to top up your account before the inspection,
- the risk that your parking session will be interrupted due to exhaustion of funds (and consequently – a fine),
- just a few extra steps to take every time you wanted to park somewhere.
Once you add your card, all the work happens in the background: we top up your wallet for you, and you only have to worry about parking.
At Skycash Parking, you can also link your virtual card saved in Google Pay and Apple Pay. We're also working to expand the list of other payment methods so users can choose the method that best suits their needs and habits.
Can I pay with BLIK?
Yes. At Skycash Parking you can top up your wallet using the BLIK code.
You enter the BLIK code directly in our app, without redirecting to an external BLIK website or PayU gateway. This allows the entire payment process to occur in one place, without interrupting the user's journey. Not all payment providers offer this. We aimed to provide the best possible user experience.
Choose the payment method that suits you best: add your payment card (physical, Apple Pay, or Google Pay) to use automatic wallet top-ups, also known as Auto Top-up. You can also use manual wallet top-ups using the BLIK method. Each of these options is available in the app.
Why is he charging me money and what is Auto top-up?
The most common cause of unexpected card charges is automatic top-ups. This isn't an error or an unintentional charge; it's a mechanism that protects you from running out of funds during an active parking session, interrupting the session, and potentially receiving a fine.
Auto Top-up is a feature that automatically tops up your Skycash wallet. In practice, if your wallet balance drops below 10 PLN, the app will automatically top it up to 30 PLN using your linked card.
You can disable the Auto Top-up feature by removing your card(s) from the Skycash Parking app.
