SkyCash has become the official sponsor of Sebastian Kawa – the most successful glider pilot in the world and the first person to fly a glider over the Himalayas.
It was with great pleasure that we began working with Sebastian Kawa, supporting his incredible, sky-high feats. The athlete has countless awards and achievements under his belt, thanks to which he has become the most decorated glider pilot in history. His long list of successes includes, among others, 10 World Champion titles, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals in the World Championships, 2 gold and bronze medals in the World Air Games and 6 European Champion titles. The date of December 21, 2013, also went down in the history of gliding. On that day, Sebastian Kawa became the first man to soar above the highest mountains in the world without the use of mechanical propulsion.
Sebastian Kawa’s pioneering feats also include a flight over Elbrus, the highest peak in the Caucasus, which he accomplished in July 2016. The expedition was accompanied by very unfavourable weather conditions, including almost daily storms and various weather traps.
More information about Sebastian Kawa's incredible achievements and future sports plans can be found on the official glider website at www.sebastiankawa.pl.
