In Tarnów, you can now pay for your parking using SkyCash and Skycash Parking. As in other cities, our solution allows you to pay only for the actual parking time and extend your parking time remotely.
SkyCash users do not have to deal with such nuisances as counting change, looking for a parking meter or having to return to the vehicle just to put a parking ticket behind the window. Another great convenience for drivers is the possibility of remotely extending parking. This eliminates the need to predict the parking time and return to the car to make an additional payment, e.g. during a long shopping trip or a business meeting. The solution is available in almost 50 other cities, including Krakow, Rzeszow, Wroclaw and Warsaw.
Using the app is very simple. Drivers launch SkyCash on their phone, open the Skycash Parking tab, and choose one of three parking methods: time-based, fixed-price, or Start/Stop, with the option to stop charging at any time. Simply confirm the operation by tapping the "Start parking" button. The parking fee is debited from the electronic wallet, which can be topped up in a variety of ways, including instantly using a payment card connected to SkyCash or the Przelewy24 service.
Before using Skycash Parking, you must mark your vehicle with a free window sticker. This sticker is available at the SPP Office, located at the Tarnów Municipal Markets at 3 Najświętszej Marii Panny Street. The sticker is also available as a printable file, which can be downloaded from the SkyCash website. Those who don't have one can place a simple piece of paper with the words "Skycash Parking" handwritten on it behind their window.
The app has a few other useful features, such as the ability to check how long a stopover lasts and how much money has been spent since it began. If a driver adds several cars to the app (e.g. private and company), they can give each of them an optional name. The side menu, on the other hand, lets you quickly read additional information (e.g. about the city's tariff) and top up the account from which the stopover fees are charged.
