From August 1, 2017, in Nowe Miasto Lubawskie you will be able to conveniently pay for your car parking using your mobile phone. The operating
as part of SkyCash, the mobiParking service is now available in nearly 60 Polish cities. The solution covers over 90 percent of all paid parking zones in the country and offers a function of paying for the actual parking time, which is currently used by most users of the system.
SkyCash has been developing a mobile payment network for parking since the end of 2011, providing drivers with a convenient way to pay using their mobile phones.
– We are pleased that Nowe Miasto Lubawskie is on our parking map. SkyCash allows you to pay for real parking time thanks to the Start/Stop function, which is chosen by the vast majority of our users – says Piotr Bochenek, member of the SkyCash board. – Parking meters do not offer such a function, where drivers have to assume in advance how long they will park and, if necessary, return to the car to buy additional minutes – adds Bochenek.
The system eliminates such burdensome activities as anticipating parking time, looking for a parking meter, or returning to the vehicle to insert a parking ticket behind the window. The mobile application provides three parking methods: time-based, for a fee (like in classic parking meters), and Start/Stop, which is chosen by nearly 80% of mobiParking users. This is primarily determined by convenience and the ability to pay only for the actual parking time, with accuracy to the minute. All you need to do is get out of the car, launch the application on your phone and start parking, and stop it with a single touch of the screen when you return.
