In which cities can I buy public transport tickets through Skycash Transport?
Skycash Transport offers public transport tickets in over 100 cities in Poland, including Warsaw, Krakow, Wrocław, Poznań, Łódź, and the Tricity area. You can find the current list of cities and carriers in the app.
How to buy a bus or tram ticket through Skycash Transport?
Open the Skycash Transport app and select "Public Transport." Select the city and carrier, then choose the ticket type (single, time-based, or daily). Confirm your purchase – the ticket will appear in the app and you can present it to the ticket inspector.
Do I need to have the internet and location turned on while driving?
Location helps the app more quickly match prices to the city you're in. Once purchased, the ticket is available offline, so no internet connection is required to present it.
What should I do if there is no coverage in the vehicle and I need to buy a ticket?
An internet connection is required to purchase a ticket. If there's no signal on the vehicle, try purchasing the ticket a little earlier—for example, at a bus stop—or wait until the connection is restored. This will ensure the ticket is saved correctly in the app.
How to show your ticket to the inspector?
After purchasing, open your ticket in the app and show it to the ticket inspector on your phone. The active ticket includes an animated security element, the date and time of purchase, and the expiration date.
Does a ticket purchased in the app entitle me to transfers?
This depends on the regulations in force in a given city. If the selected time-limited ticket allows transfers, you can use different public transport vehicles during its validity. Detailed regulations are determined by the local transport operator.
Do discount tickets require additional verification in the app?
No. When purchasing, simply select the appropriate discount ticket type. However, remember that you must have proof of entitlement to the discount when inspected.
Can I buy a ticket for someone else traveling with me?
Yes. You can purchase more than one ticket in a single transaction using the app, for example, for someone traveling with you. During inspection, simply present all active tickets stored in the app. Please note that if the ticket purchased for a fellow passenger includes a discount, the inspector may ask for proof of entitlement.
How can I top up my account to have funds for tickets?
You can top up your account in the app with a payment card or BLIK. Once topped up, the funds are immediately available for purchasing tickets.
What if I buy the wrong ticket by mistake?
If you purchased the wrong ticket, you can request a refund by contacting the Customer Service Office. Funds are refunded to the payment method used for the purchase. Refunds to your Skycash Transport wallet are processed immediately. For card payments, refunds are usually processed within 3 business days, although depending on your bank, they may take up to 30 days.
