The 5th Public Transport Congress, organized by the TOR Economic Advisory Team, ended a few days ago. We had the pleasure of participating in this important event, while also taking on the role of Mobile Payments Partner.
The Public Transport Congress is the largest industry event in Poland, dedicated to the broadly understood public transport in cities and regions. It is an excellent opportunity to exchange information and experiences between representatives of local governments, organizers of public transport in urban centers and regions, carriers and companies offering solutions for the transport sector.
During the event, we promoted convenient mobile payments, including for public transport. SkyCash is currently available in 40 Polish cities, allowing you to buy tickets anywhere, XNUMX hours a day. Increasingly, passengers can use their phones not only to buy single and time-limited tickets, but also long-term ones. Among the cities cooperating in SkyCash, they are already offered by Szczecin, Tychy, Opole, Grudziądz and Płock.
This year’s edition of the Public Transport Congress took place on 24-25 October 2016 at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw.
