Koleje Mazowieckie's Sunny Train is a popular summer travel option, enjoying enduring popularity among those planning a holiday by the Polish seaside. This year, as last year, tickets can also be purchased using the SkyCash mobile app. Passengers can thus avoid queues at ticket offices, purchase tickets several days before departure, or even on their way to the station. Ticket prices are the same as at traditional ticket offices.
The app will also be useful when you arrive at the seaside. You can use it to pay for SKM trains and city buses. SkyCash also allows you to buy cinema tickets in Gdynia, Gdańsk, Sopot, and Rumia, and withdraw cash from Euronet ATMs. During the summer, they can be found in almost all seaside towns, where many shops and restaurants still don't accept cards. To purchase a ticket for the "Słoneczny" train, simply select your departure and arrival stations and confirm the transaction. Passengers can pay using funds accumulated in their SkyCash account or using a connected MasterCard or Visa payment card. During inspection, the ticket must be presented to the conductor, which is automatically saved in the "Ticket Inspection" tab. This process can also be performed offline, without the need for an internet connection.
