SkyCash, a pioneer in the mobile payments market, has partnered with Bank Pekao SA to offer its services to its customers. In the first phase, Pekao customers will be able to purchase public transportation tickets and pay parking fees cashlessly using the bank's app. In subsequent phases, the bank plans to develop and offer additional selected functionalities in collaboration with SkyCash.
As part of the partnership, SkyCash has released a new open system, which will also be used by other entities interested in SkyCash's broadest range of services. The SkyCash API provides flexible integration options. In the initial phase, partners were offered access to public transport ticket sales, parking payments, and highway tolls.
