The list of services available in the BZWBK24 mobile application of Bank Zachodni WBK has been expanded to include the option of conveniently purchasing public transport tickets debited to your bank account.
The solution is provided by SkyCash, a mobile payment system operating in dozens of cities across Poland, including Poznań, Łódź, Warsaw, and Kraków. It allows users to purchase up to a dozen tickets of the same type in a single transaction, eliminating everyday hassles like queuing, counting change, or searching for an open point of sale. Tickets are available 24/7 and are priced the same as their traditional counterparts, sold at kiosks and vending machines.
– By providing the ticket purchase mechanism in an external application, we have presented one of the possible directions of symbiosis of our system, in this case with mobile banking – said Dariusz Mazurkiewicz, President of the Management Board of SkyCash Poland SA – City tickets are, next to parking payments and train and cinema tickets, one of the most popular SkyCash services, which perfectly complements and significantly enhances the use of the BZWBK24 mobile application – adds Mazurkiewicz.
The solution is available to BZWBK24 mobile users who activate the service by registering with SkyCash. This one-time action can be performed at any time, without having to leave the app. Those who already have a mobile payment account can purchase tickets directly by entering their access details in BZWBK24 mobile – the same ones they use to log in to SkyCash.
