From March 1, residents of Oława and Siechnice can buy public transport tickets in the SkyCash application when travelling to Wrocław and within the commune. The SkyCash service includes 90-minute, 7-day and 30-day commune tickets. Thanks to the wide SkyCash offer, in Wrocław, users of the application can also use mobile parking services, purchase public transport tickets and order a taxi or travel further by train: PKP Intercity, PolREGIO and Koleje Dolnośląskie or buses - all in the SkyCash application.
Thus, the Siechnice Commune and the city of Oława join the group of over 100 cities where the solution offered by SkyCash is available.
Where to start?
To be able to buy public transport tickets quickly and safely, you should start by installing the SkyCash application on your mobile device. The application can be downloaded from trusted sources: Google Play, AppStore and AppGallery. Then, in a few steps, you should create an account by filling in your details and choosing a payment method - topping up your account or connecting a payment card. Payment for tickets can also be added to the mobile operator's bill by activating the "Add to Orange bill", "Pay with Play" or "Pay with Plus" service.
How to buy a ticket in SkyCash?
Ticket purchase should be made before boarding public transport. To make a purchase, follow these steps:
- On the SkyCash application home screen, select the "Public transport" tile.
- When you make your first purchase, the app will ask you to select the city from the list where you want to purchase your ticket.
- Select your city to go to the details of the ticket offer of a given carrier. You can always change the city using the "Change" button available at the bottom of the screen.
- During the purchase process, you must enter the ticket parameters.
- After selecting the appropriate parameters, on the summary screen, verify that all data is correct and then confirm the purchase of the selected ticket by selecting the preferred payment source and entering the PIN (4 digits) that was assigned during registration in the SkyCash system.
- After a successful purchase transaction, you will receive a notification about the transaction being carried out correctly, and your ticket will be available in the "My Tickets" tab, which you will find on the main screen of the application. You will also find the ticket here in offline mode, without access to the Internet.
