Since September last year, Katowice residents have been able to pay for parking in the paid parking zone using the SkyCash application.
On May 21, 2021, Resolution No. XXXIV/740/21 of the Katowice City Council of April 29, 2021 will come into force. Therefore, there will be changes in the parking fee rates in the “Śródmieście” subzone.
New fee rates:
- first hour: PLN 3,
- second hour: PLN 3,6,
- third hour: PLN 4,2,
- each additional hour: PLN 3.
There will also be an increase in the amount of the additional fee, with its amount depending on the payment deadline (up to 7 days PLN 100) – then PLN 200.
How to use SkyCash payments?
To use the mobiParking service in Katowice quickly and safely, simply install the SkyCash app on your phone. It can be downloaded from trusted stores: Google Play, App Store, and AppGallery. To register, simply provide basic user information, such as your phone number and email address. Next, add your vehicle to the mobiParking service and provide its name and registration number. Now, simply top up your SkyCash Wallet or add your payment card. Finally, mark your vehicle with a sticker or card that says "mobiParking."
